Non-Competitive events

For choirs who may wish to participate in the non-competitive aspects of the festival there are opportunities to sing throughout the weekend either through mic warming or cooling, Acapella in the City or Sing Alleluia events.

The Acapella in the City programme is a fun way for choirs to perform for the people of Sligo throughout the city of Sligo in pubs, shopping centres, shops, barbers and restaurants.

Sing Alleluia

After the festivities of Saturday night enter into the quiet of Sunday to sing in meditative contemplation in a number of Sligo churches.

These fringe events in pubs, shopping centres, local businesses and churches along with the Festival Club provide opportunities for choirs to experience the hospitality of the people of Sligo in a relaxed musical environment.
